Who we are
Vel Events International is an event management company based in Perth, with a network in Singapore and Malaysia. We produce cultural nights, private celebrations, comedy shows, sports tournaments, and related work. When you use this website, send an enquiry, or book a date, you share information so we can quote and deliver that work.
What we collect
From enquiries and bookings we collect names, emails, phone numbers, event dates, cities, guest counts, and the brief you write. From contracted events we may also hold guest lists, vendor contacts, floor plans, and payment records. Social platforms have their own policies.
Why we use it
We use this information to reply to enquiries, issue quotes and invoices, book vendors, run the event, and keep legally required records. We may send follow-up notes about a date you asked us to hold. We do not sell guest lists or enquiry data to unrelated marketers.
Photographs, film, and Vel Events TV
Productions may be photographed or filmed by us or by contractors you approve. Recap films are published on Vel Events TV and social channels only with written approval in the quote or contract. Private events can be excluded. Guests should assume cameras are present unless the contract says otherwise.
Sharing
We share what vendors need to do their jobs: caterers need headcount and allergies; venues need load-in times. Payment processors see what is required to take a deposit. We do not share your brief with other clients.
Retention and your rights
Booking records are kept for the period required by Australian tax and contract law, then deleted or archived. You may ask what we hold, ask for a correction, or ask us to stop using your contact details for company news. Write to Vel.events.perth@gmail.com. This does not erase invoices we must keep. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
